Of the many haunted object stories we have covered, this might be the most unexpectedly unsettling. In a small Wisconsin town in 1955, the Monroe family stumbled upon an old, forgotten box in their newly purchased home. Inside, they discovered a stunning patchwork quilt radiating with colours from a bygone era. Little did they know that this innocuous find would begin a chilling mystery that would make newspaper headlines. From moving on its own accord and ghostly demands to the bone-chilling encounters with a faceless figure, there is something very unusual about this unique family heirloom.
