The Bytown Museum was excellent!!! Our guide was very knowledgeable and told the stories in captivating ways that sent chills down our spines. She shared not only ghost stories but the history as well and able to answer any questions we may have had! She was very enthusiastic and happy to be there and you could tell that she is very passionate about what she does which made the tour so much better! I did the Ghosts of the Bytown Museum haunted walk last night and I really enjoyed myself. Our lovely guide was so engaging and knowledgeable about the dark history of the place. It was so spooky inside the museum at night! Leah had tons of personal encounters to tell and also some stories experienced by other guides and guests. It was really fun if you like being scared!

We just did the Bytown Museum on Halloween night - what a fun experience! Our guide was amazing, she is a very good story teller, knows how to deliver a message and keep everyone interested! Our guide was great! Really knowledgeable about the city and its history! When we were going through the upstairs part of the museum - in the dark; the strap on my purse undid itself and my bag fell to the floor quite loudly. Ummm, I apologize. I didn't do it. That was nuts and has never happened before. The cast of D'Arcy Mcgee's hand was probably one of the most interesting parts in the museum. The Cellar was also amazing! Get to know this part of our city if you haven't! Great idea for friends/family out of town!

We enjoyed a summer's evening stroll over to the Bytown Museum. I liked the pace, and appreciated the opportunity to stop and take photos along the canal, etc. in a creepy setting. Once inside the museum, they keep it quiet with the lights off so you can watch for shadows and listen for strange noises.

This is not a ghost tour. It is a guided paranormal investigation, and YOU are part of it. Over two hours, we’ll explore four heated heritage buildings: the old church, the schoolhouse, the train station, and the family home. With the village closed to the public and only a handful of guests exploring after dark, the experience feels immersive, quietly eerie, and far removed from an ordinary night out.
