Spookiness Scale

We will lead you through the darkened pioneer village, sharing chilling tales about Upper Canada’s darker history and the ghosts that may still linger in some of the buildings on-site today. This unique opportunity to see Upper Canada Village after the lights go out will only be available on select days this summer. Although most of the experience is outdoors, you will be able to peek inside a few of our favourite haunted buildings along the way. As this tour often sells out, please be sure you have purchased your tickets before heading to the village in Morrisburg, Ontario. Masks are required to enter the historic buildings. Cette visite est également disponible en français.

A Safe & Spooky Experience for All...

Ghosts of Upper Canada Village is partially accessible; however, a few of the haunted heritage buildings we go into don’t have accessible entrances, and we’d hate for anyone to miss out on some of the neat stops along the tour. More accessible options include The Original Haunted Walk of Ottawa and The Original Haunted Walk of Kingston.

More Spooky Fun!

For some, cemeteries evoke feelings of fear and dread. For others, they are beautiful spaces filled with memories and reflection. For us, they are places with countless stories waiting to be told. This October, we are proud to partner with Beechwood Cemetery National Historic Site for a one-of-a-kind evening filled with storytelling and chills. We will share the darker history of the cemetery’s early days and the ghost stories connected to some who rest there – including strange reports from staff that continue to this day. The experience will be mostly outdoors as we walk amongst the crypts, headstones and other markers. Our final stop of the evening will give us the rare opportunity to venture inside the Mausoleum after sunset for one last spine-tingling tale.  We recommend all guests bring a flashlight for fun & safety. Masks are required to enter the Mausoleum.

To help celebrate the launch of the new tour, on October 1st we are partnering with Pop-Up Cinema to present Frankenstein in Beechwood Cemetery at 7:30pm. Take the tour before the movie at 6:15pm, or afterwards at 9:15pm. Space is limited.

There are few places more historic, charming, and haunted in Canada than Queen’s University. There are eerie tales of student grave robbers, professors reaching out from the beyond, heists gone wrong and streets shrouded in mystery. We’ve never told these stories before and can’t wait to share them with our guests. You won’t hear spine-tingling and heart-pounding tales like these on the regular campus tours. Join us for the Ghosts of Queen’s University and graduate with a degree in the supernatural!

Your evening will begin with a full briefing on the haunted history of the area, the equipment to be used, and the best practices to follow when collecting and analyzing evidence. Then you will head inside…in the dark…to see if you can capture any sign of paranormal activity. The results of every investigation are different and sometimes unpredictable. With a max of 8 people per group, tickets are extremely limited. Transportation not provided.
